Mrs. Kimberly D. Dixon hails from Elberon, VA, which is in Surry County, VA. She currently works as an Outpatient Mental Health Therapist which is classified as a LPC, Resident in Counseling in Hampton, VA. Kimberly also is a Group Facilitator with Hampton Roads Community Action program also located in Hampton VA. Kimberly is the third of three children to Allen and Doris Parson. She is married to Tony Dixon, Jr. of 3 years and a dog mother to Sheba Marie Dixon. Kimberly is a member of Cypress Baptist Church in Elberon, VA where Rev. Lucy S. Robertson is the pastor. There she serves as the Assistant Clerk of the church and works in additional ministries in the church.

Kimberly has earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from Norfolk State University in 2013. She also earned a Master of Arts Degree in Professional Counseling in 2017. Kimberly is an outpatient therapist and group facilitator; she advocates for those with mental health, peer support and those who are disabled. Kimberly wholeheartedly enjoys assisting those who are in need no matter their ability from the inside out. Kimberly has been in the human services field for over 10 years. In her spare time, Kimberly enjoys spending time with family and friends while also binge watching a good show.

Kimberly’s role in We Have Dreams 2 as the Secretary along with being a Co-Chair on the Programs and Development Committee. With We Have Dreams 2, Kimberly is dedicated to making her mark in the community by offering insight, support and education as young adults begin to navigate their way in the world.
